Seb's idea 💡🚴♂️
Sebby Scott wants to raise money for clatterbridge cancer charity at just 7 years old, Seb had a idea of raising money through a charity bike ride for a cancer charity as his big cousin Ryan has been battling a rare and aggressive bone cancer since October 2025.
Seb will be riding from his home down sankey canal to The Ferry Tavern in Warrington which is a 26km round trip, for Sebs little legs this is a big achievement. Seb will be riding with his family on the 19th September which will be Seb’s 8th birthday 🎉
Seb will need lots of encouragement to complete his fundraiser so if anyone wants to come show support by cycling with him this would be much appreciated 😊
Ryan’s story
In October 2025 I had found a lump in my chest which was concerning. After some blood tests I was told to have an X-ray and a ct scan to find out what it could be. After a holiday to Spain I was called into the doctors in which they told me I had osteosarcoma, a rare and agressive bone cancer in my ribs. During the next 2 weeks I had multiple scans and a biopsy. Then on the 19 of November 2025 I started chemotherapy as the tumor was too big for surgery. I underwent 7 months of intense chemotherapy which was very traumatic and the most aweful thing ever. Loosing my hair, gaining weight, feeling sick and weak all the time, not being able to do some things that I used to be able to do. In may 2026 I finished 7 months of chemo and was told that I could get surgery. I have had a lot of scans and am now waiting for a date for my surgery in which I will have multiple ribs removed and rebuilt. This is gonna have a long recovery time but will hopefully get rid of all the cancer.
Let’s all get behind Seb and this great charity, Seb set his target as a whopping £1500 ❤️ every penny counts 👏🏽
