The charity helps young children from ages 8 to 13 have some respite from their difficult home lives. The children get to go and meet with other children that may be facing the same difficulties at home and have some down time to just be a kid and leave their responsibilities behind. Some of these children come from poor backgrounds and don’t have much to their name and it costs the charity around £1100 per child, per week.
