Hi, I’m Phil. I’m walking from the top of Yorkshire to the base of Lincolnshire and beyond in memory of my Mum and in support of the wonderful St Barnabas Hospice at Home Team who helped her through the last few steps of her journey. This ‘Phil-grimage’ starts at her birthplace and goes all the way back to her final resting place, visiting many of the spots that June loved. It will take me two weeks. I’ll be supported all the way by my wife Sam, family, friends and Frankie the dog …….. so please help us make June’s last few steps a truly wonderful and meaningful experience by supporting St Barnabas, who in turn support people like June at the end of their journeys by keeping them in the place they feel the safest and happiest – home.

This fantastic team deliver free, high-quality, compassionate end-of-life care and support to patients, their families and carers. They aim to enable them to live as fully as they are able for however many days, weeks or months they have left.

They are reliant on the financial support the community provides, to be there for more patients, their families and carers, every day of the year.
