Story
In memory of Nikki Grahame and Chelsea Blue, Team SEED is taking on the Thames Bridges Trek on September 9th: a 25km route that starts at Putney Bridge and ends at Tower Bridge. This route is particularly pertinent as Nikki had always dreamed of completing the Bridges of London walk but sadly didn’t live to do so. We will be completing this part of the Ultra Challenge Experience with our fullest hearts, and are doing this to ensure that their deaths, nor any death due to eating disorders, have not been in vain.
Over the last 23 years, Gemma Oaten’s family has fought relentlessly to save lives, including Gemma O’s. SEED aims to make sure that its new resource room, based in Hull, has the funding and backing it deserves to continue supporting all those affected by eating disorders. At our resource room, Team SEED offers: Support and Listening Services; Free 1-1 therapy; Support groups for those personally affected, and also for carers; Community drop-in times; Workshops, and more.
Since Gemma O and Carly (Nikki’s Best Friend) went live on BBC Breakfast at the beginning of the year, SEED has been inundated with new referrals and is struggling to cope with these, whilst simultaneously providing vital face to face and telephone support.

Please help us to help them so that no one falls through the gaps. Recovery is possible, but we can't do it without your support and donations.
Thank you in advance,
Team SEED!
