Hi everyone,

On Saturday 26th July 2025, I’ll be taking part in the LOROS Twilight Walk. It’s a 10K night-time walk through Leicester, in loving memory of my dad, Vipin Mashru, who we sadly lost in June this year.

I’ll not be walking alone - I’ll be walking with my wonderful family and friends, and together we are Team “LOROS Legends”, walking side by side to honour Dad’s memory and support the charity that gave us so much during his final days.

LOROS Hospice was truly incredible at the end of Dad’s life. Their care, compassion, and support brought comfort not just to him, but to all of us. We’ll never forget the kindness they showed when we needed it most.

LOROS provides free, specialist end-of-life care to patients and families across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland. Their work is amazing but they rely on donations to continue making such a powerful difference.

This walk is our way of saying thank you, remembering Dad, and helping ensure others receive the same loving care we did.
