Mae Seindorf Beaumaris wedi bod wrth galon ein cymuned yn perfformio a chreu cerddoriaeth ers 1921. Ar draws ein teulu o fandiau mae gennym aelodau gydag ystod oedran o 6 hyd at yn eu 80au. Mae ein Band Hyn a'r Band Ieuenctid yn cystadlu ar lefelau uchaf, tra bod y Band Iau yn cynnig cyfleodd a phrofiadu i blant ifanc lleol dderbyn addysg gerddorol drwy chwarae offeryn pres yn ogystal a chael hwyl wrth wneud. Yn olaf mae LSW (Last of the Summer Wind!) ydy'r band cymdeithasol sydd yn mwynhau dysgu chwarae offeryn pres yng nghwmni eu gilydd er fwynhad, ac weithiau byddant yn cystadlu hefyd.

Beaumaris Band has been at the heart of our community performing and creating music since 1921. Across our family of bands we have members ranging from 6 to over 80 years old. Our Senior Band and Youth Band compete at the highest levels, whilst the Junior band offers opportunities and experiences for local young children to receive musical education through playing brass instruments while having fun. Finally LSW (Last of the Summer Wind!) is our adult social band who meet to enjoy learning instruments and playing together - as well as doing the occasional competition.

Rydym yn brysur iawn yn codi arian i helpu ein Band Ieuenctid i fynd i Linz, Awstria, i gynrychioli Cymru ym Mhencampwriaethau Bandiau Pres Ewrop ym mis Ebrill. Mae’n fraint enfawr i fod yn cynrychioli Cymru ym mhrif gystadleuaeth Bandiau Pres Ieuenctid Ewrop ac i gario enw tref Beaumaris ac Ynys Môn gyda balchder. Fel Band rydym yn hynod o falch o’r Adran Iau gweithgar tu hwnt sydd yn Beaumaris gyda 100 o gerddorion ifanc yn cael addysg a thiwtora cerddorol yn wythnosol. Mae gweld y Band Ieuenctid, sy'n benllanw'r addysg yma, yn cael gwahoddiad i fod yn lysgenhadon i'r dref, ein ynys ac i Gymru yn fraint ac yn anrhydedd anferth.

We are currently fund raising to help our Youth Band get to Linz, in Austria, to represent Wales in the European Brass Band Championships in April. It is a massive honour for us to represent Wales on the biggest stage for Youth Bands throughout the whole of Europe and to carry the name of Beaumaris and Anglesey with pride. The Band are extremely proud of the thriving Youth Section we have at Beaumaris with over 100 young people attending the Band room to receive a musical education and tutoring on a weekly basis. To see the Youth Band, which is the culmination of this musical education, being invited to become ambassadors for the town, our island and for Wales is an incredible honour and achievement.
