Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page! We are a barristers' chambers based in central London, and we’ll be cycling 55 miles from London to Brighton to raise money for Daughters Rising - a charity that empowers at-risk girls to end trafficking and exploitation in their communities and break the cycle of poverty.
Daughter’s Rising work with the most at-risk populations in northern Thailand - ethnic minority women and refugees in underserved communities. For this reason, they take a multifaceted approach to their work: education through their scholarship program for indigenous and refugee women; employment through their hospitality vocational training program; and outreach, through their safe house for at-risk girls and empowerment workshops.
We chose to support Daughters Rising as we feel a strong connection to their mission and the impact they are making in vulnerable communities. Daughters Rising creates real, sustainable change in some of the world’s most underserved communities.

How you can help an at-risk girl stay in school:
£7.52 funds a self-defence class for an at-risk girl
£18.80 pays for 1 month school bus fees for an at-risk girl to attend school
£37.60 provides 1 month of educational support for an at-risk girl
£75.20 funds 1 educational workshop for 20 at-risk girls
How you can empower a refuge student:
£7.52 provides 1 week of criteria fees
£15.04 pays for 1 English class for one scholarship student
£22.56 provides school supplies for 1 semester
£37.60 provides University uniforms for 1 year
£75.20 gives emergency medical aid for a student in need
