Selma, our wonderful next door neighbour to my parents for nearly 60yrs, passed away peacefully on Sunday 24th August 2025 at the age of 97.

She lived a very long and happy life & has left many people who thought a huge amount of her, with lots of wonderful memories.

A small funeral was held on 17th September 2025 and in lieu of flowers she wanted to raise funds for Redwings Horse Sanctuary. We have already raised £150 at the funeral, but any donation to make it up to £300 is much appreciated in memory of such a dear lady.

We would like to invite those of you who knew Selma to attend a celebration of her life as we scatter her ashes on Friday September 26th at 1pm at St Andrews Cemetery, Jesmond, NE3 2BU
