Why have we chosen to support The Elizabeth Foundation?
Our pianist's granddaughter Ella was born without any hearing. From the very beginning, Ella with her mother Charlotte have attended two days a week at The Elizabeth Foundation school for deaf babies and preschool children. The family have described the support given to Ella by the Charity over that time as 'miraculous'. Ella is now four years old and we hope she will be there in person during the afternoon of the concert. It is for these reasons that we have chosen to raise funds for this outstanding Charity.
The Elizabeth Foundation provides a wide range of services to offer these young children the best possible start in life with the aim to help them learn, listen and talk. With modern technology and appropriate intervention during the early years, most deaf children can and do learn to communicate clearly and effectively using spoken language.
The Elizabeth Foundation is entirely responsible for raising the funds they need to support their work and services so your donations will make a real difference.
