Since losing my Best Friend Thomas Quinn to Bone Cancer in June 2019, I have found listening to hymn songs that we sang during our primary school experience really comforting. Whenever I hear these hymn songs, they instantly remind me of Thomas and fill me with so much warmth and peace.

In July 2023 I decided to work on a mini project where I asked my two great friends from University Charlotte and Louis if they would support me in putting together a mini 3 hymn album that I could then use to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust in memory of my Best Friend Thomas.

I really enjoyed recording these hymn songs with Charlotte and Louis who were super encouraging and kind-hearted in allowing me to record in their home studio as well as produce my vocals. I hope the money raised from this campaign can help towards Teenage Cancer Trust and all the amazing work they do in supporting teenagers with Cancer. Life is so short and it's so important to cherish each and every moment with our loved ones.

A funny little thing about Thomas was he never took choir rehearsals during primary school seriously and would purposely do his best to entertain his school friends with his "singing", so this definitely made me smile during the recording process. I know he would have been clapping his hands and telling me "Serena this is wholesome!!" haha! :-)

Just like so many of us, I love and miss Thomas so very much and know that he is shining his light on all his beautiful family and friends :-)
