Serving for Seaview

Gemma Hollingshead is raising money for The Seaview Project

Wimbledon Tennis Big Screen Watch · 29 June 2026

Seaview works with people who feel they are living on the edge of society, and who experience little hope for their future. We provide a range of services that meet the needs of the client group, and support them in identifying and attaining their potential and goals.

Story

Serving for Seaview is a fun, inclusive, family-friendly event that harnesses the power of sport and community to help bring about change for local people who are homeless and vulnerable.

For the whole Wimbledon fortnight (29 June - 12 July), St Andrew's Mews in Hastings will be transformed into a tennis extravaganza - with live outdoor and indoor viewing spaces, activities for kids and live music in the evenings.

We are asking for a suggested donation of £5 to sit and watch an hour or two of tennis 🎾

Throughout the Wimbledon tournament, Mews vendors have also been cooking up ideas for special food and drinks to be sold in aid of the charity, including; cream teas, strawberry burrata salad, Pimms and more...

By enjoying some tennis live on the big TV, buying a cream tea, Pimms or special Wimbledon cake, you will be supporting Seaview to help even more people leave homelessness behind for good.

Last year, over 300 people were found rough sleeping in Hastings and St Leonards.

Seaview offers a place of welcome, safety and friendship. A place to meet, get some food, a hot shower and essential advice and support.

We have recently bought a nine-bed home for local homeless people to rebuild their lives - the only one in Hastings & St Leonards.

But we need your help to turn the house into a home. Serving for Seaview will be raising money as part of the charity's big Help Make a House a Home Appeal. You can find out more at seaviewproject.co.uk

Thank you for your support.
