According to the NHS, congenital heart disease is one of the most common types of birth defect, affecting almost 1 in 100 babies born in the UK. My aim with this fundraiser is to raise money (and awareness!) about the impact that CHD’s can have on young children and their families.

I have chosen to support the Children’s Heart Charity because the work they do is really inspiring. The charity aids children born with heart defects to have a better chance of surviving - not just for kids in the UK, but around the world too. Most recently, children from Ukraine and Egypt have been given surgeries and other medical treatment that helped save their lives. I would love to raise as much money as possible for these children, especially those living in underprivileged areas.
