The teams from Seven Hospitality Group: Seven Restaurant & Café Bar and The White Hart - Duffield, have come together with a shared purpose this June. We’ll be ditching our aprons and lacing up our running shoes, taking part in Derby’s Ramathon to support a cause very close to our hearts: YMCA Derbyshire.

We believe meaningful change begins right here, in our local community. That’s why we’re committed to raising awareness and vital funds to support vulnerable young people and their families when they need it most. Every step we take is a step toward hope, stability, and a brighter future for those facing difficult times.

Being part of something that can help restore purpose and bring a sense of belonging to someone’s life is a privilege - and it’s one we hold dearly.

A little about YMCA…

Each night, YMCA Derbyshire provides safe housing for 225 individuals - people who, for many different reasons, have found themselves without a place to call home.

At the heart of YMCA’s mission is a simple but powerful belief: everyone deserves the foundation for a meaningful life. That foundation begins with physical and mental wellbeing, and above all, the security of a safe home. While many of us take that for granted, the reality is that far too many go without - or lose it through no fault of their own.

That’s why the YMCA offers more than just shelter. They offer support, guidance, and a pathway back to stability, dignity, and hope.

Your donations will help by:

- Providing warm and safe places to live, home cooked meals and community pantries.

- Support and advice on housing, debt, welfare and healthcare.

- Mental health support and counselling

- Wellbeing activities such as sports, arts and crafts, horticulture and more.

- Education, training, volunteer placements and work preparation programmes.
