Since 1989 St. Francis Hospice has provided a service of specialist palliative care to people in North Dublin City and County and surrounding counties in advanced stages of cancer, motor neuron disease and HIV/AIDS, as well as support for their families and friends. There are no charges for services provided by St. Francis Hospice.The service is based on a Christian philosophy, which recognises the need to treat each person with dignity, respect and compassion, irrespective of their cultural or religious background. Our current range of services within the Community includes specialist palliative care, Hospice Day Care, Out-Patient Clinics, our 19 bed In-patient Unit and Bereavement Support services.

Story

On behalf of the Irish Delegation of the Dynastic Orders of the Royal House of Savoy, I am honored to be raising funds in support of St. Francis Hospice Dublin, in memory of the beloved mother of Yana Zakharchenko - Lyubov Zakharchenko.

St. Francis Hospice provides a specialist palliative care service to people in North Dublin and surrounding counties free of charge.

In 2024, St Francis Hospice supported 2,313 patients and their families, provided specialist palliative care to more than 1,600 people in their homes, while 657 patients were admitted to their In-Patient Units in Raheny and Blanchardstown for symptom management and end of life care. In addition, the innovative Outpatient and Day Service (OPDS) provided care to 1,228 patients.
