Story
For 15 years, The Oldbury Faith Foundation has been serving our community without a permanent home.
We have worked tirelessly to provide youth education, Islamic learning, and a safe space where our community can come together. Our young people attend classes to strengthen their knowledge and character, families gather to support one another, and the community benefits from a place built on faith, learning, and unity.
However, throughout these 15 years we have faced one ongoing challenge, we have never had a permanent space of our own. Classes have taken place in temporary venues, rented halls, and borrowed rooms. Despite this, our community has continued to grow and the need for a dedicated space has become greater than ever.
Now, after 15 years of searching, Allah has blessed us with the opportunity to secure a building that will become a Masjid and community centre.
This space will allow us to:
• Establish a Masjid where daily prayers, Jumu’ah and Ramadan worship can take place
• Provide Islamic education and youth programmes
• Create a safe and welcoming space for families and the wider community
• Support the next generation with guidance, mentorship and positive activities
• Bring people together through faith, learning and community support
But we must act quickly and collectively.
