Thank you for clicking on my Just Giving page! 😊 I am raising money for WAITS (Women Acting In Todays Society). WAITS is an award-winning charity that supports women who have been in an abusive environment, that has been running for 30 years now.

WAITS support over 500 women per year and have 4 refuge houses for women who have fled from a domestic abuse environment. They offer professional counselling services, giving women the emotional support they need to cope with past trauma and current challenges.

One of the projects amongst many is the Community Integration Project, where WAITS support female offenders to reintegrate into society and have a 97% success rate on non-repeat offenders. The charity helps women enhance their employability through coaching, training and workshops, which are essential for personal and professional development.

WAITS use a holistic approach by addressing the whole woman and her needs without time limits, they ensure that each individual receives comprehensive and personalised support.
