24 Hours, Zero Sleep, and Plenty of Cake! 🏃‍♂️🍰

Here at the Shaftesbury Run Club, we love two things: a good chat and a good run. In fact, our whole club was built on the foundation of weekly Run Talk Run sessions, where clearing our heads is just as important as clocking the miles.

We are big believers in smashing the stigma around mental health and keeping the conversation completely open.

Now, we want to give something big back to our community by supporting an incredible cause: The Brave and Determined Charity. This amazing team funds life-saving, early-intervention counselling for anyone across England facing mental health challenges.

To raise some serious cash for them, we’ve decided to put our legs (and our sleep schedules) to the ultimate test.

- The Challenge 🕒The 24-Hour Loop: Starting on Friday 8th August 18:00, we are running a continuous 5k loop right here around Shaftesbury for a full 24 hours.

- Tag-Team Style: Our club members will be swapping in and out at the end of each loop.

-No Runner Left Behind: Yes, we will be running right through the pitch-black night.

- There will always be at least one of us out on the loop keeping the momentum going!

- Everyone wlecome to join in and run with us

We are hosting a Homemade Cake Sale on Saturday 8th August at the Half Moon pub. Come down, grab a slice of cake, say hello, and cheer on our dizzy runners as they smash their loops.
