Story
Every year, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem. But hundreds of thousands of people are still struggling. Mind believes that no one should have to face a mental health problem alone. They listen, provide support and advice, and fight your corner.
I am excited to share my journey as I prepare for the "Brighton Marathon 2026" with "Team Mind". This marathon is not just a race; it represents a significant milestone in my life. During university, I faced a very low period due to grief and obesity. However, through determination and support, I have lost 50KG and transformed my life.
I never imagined running more than a 5K; in fact, just in January 2026, I completed my first 10K! This marathon is a way to cement all that I have worked through to improve my life and serves as a testament to the incredible work that Mind's workers have done to help me feel brighter during tough times.
I am aiming to raise £500 for this important cause because every contribution helps ensure that others can receive the support they need. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those facing mental health challenges. Please consider supporting me on this journey by donating today!
