Greetings and Peace be upon you
I am a 54 year old local dad of 4 who will be participating in the Robin Hood Half Marathon.
It will be my first official race and I’m excited and nervous to be attempting to complete the Half Marathon.which is 13.2 miles.
I would love ❤️ your support for my challenge to help the fantastic charity Himmah.
Donations are zakat, sadaqah and lillah eligible. Himmah partners with the National Zakat Foundation to distribute money and food parcels to those in need.

Himmah operates the largest independent food bank in Nottingham. Through campaigns like Dignity in Every Dish, they provide thousands of hot, nutritious meals to individuals, families, and refugees facing severe food poverty.
The Himmah Hub: Located at 37A Gregory Boulevard, this primary community space hosts outreach events, learning activities, and creative wellbeing programs to support victims of discrimination and race hate crimes.
Wraparound Support: Beyond food, they offer essential practical help, including supplying school uniforms and facilitating financial guidance in partnership with organizations like the Nottingham Law Centre.Systemic Campaigning: The charity actively campaigns to dismantle structural inequalities, such as addressing disproportionality in police stop-and-searches.
‘I’m signing up as a Himmah Ambassador and helping them help the people of Nottinghamshire and surrounding areas.Himmah provides hot meals, food support, community spaces, and practical help for people facing hardship.The money raised will help keep these services running and support communities to grow stronger over the long term.
