Words cannot express what it is like hearing a Syrian orphan ask me to fly him home in my airplane or seeing a Palestinian mother desperately plead for her daughter’s life.

For most of their lives, the children of Palestine and Syria have only known the wholesale destruction of their nations and the catastrophic humanitarian crises that continue to be left behind.

These children have been tortured with poverty, desperation and psychosocial trauma from wars that they themselves cannot even process or verbalise.

Instead of nurture, these children have known violence.

Instead of kindness, these children have felt pain.

Instead of compassion, these children have lived brutality itself, a monster that has reared its ugly head time and time again, generation after generation.

Over 2 million refugees from Palestine and Syria are confined into dangerous settlements across Lebanon.

I will be travelling to Lebanon again with Salam Charity to distribute aid to Palestinian and Syrian refugees. I will be hand delivering aid to the people who need it most. We are aiming to feed and deliver aid to as many people possible, so please donate generously.
