Story
On Thursday 10th September, I’ll be jumping out of a plane to raise money for Parkinson’s UK! 🪂
One of our residents had hoped to complete the skydive herself. Sadly, she is no longer able to do the jump—so I’ll be taking the leap on her behalf.
She lives with Parkinson’s, and after hearing her story, I couldn’t be prouder to support a charity as special as Parkinson’s UK.
Parkinson’s is a progressive neurological condition that can affect almost every part of daily life. Alongside tremors, stiffness and difficulties with movement and balance, it can cause pain, extreme tiredness, sleep problems and changes to speech and mood. Everyday tasks that many of us take for granted can become incredibly challenging—not only for the person living with Parkinson’s, but also for those closest to them.
With the jump fast approaching, I really need your help to make it count. Please dig deep and donate whatever you can—every contribution, no matter the amount, will make a difference. Even better, Care UK will match the donations I raise, helping your support go even further.
Thank you for getting behind me and helping me do our resident proud. 💜
