Thank you for all your donations. Shammy's husband has set up another page to raise money for a project he has chosen. Her family will like to continue her love for charity through a sadaqah jariyah project. Please follow the link below if you would like to donate.

Our dear friend's sister gave birth to a beautiful son, Muhib. Unfortunately, he was stillborn. His mother, Shammy, passed away shortly after.
Shammy was a light in her family's life. She was a devoted mother. She leaves behind two beautiful sons, 7 years old and 3 years old, and her husband. She always thought of others, she would light up a room with her laughter and story telling. We miss her, and would like to raise money as sadaqah jariyah.
May Allah accept her as shaheeda just as He decreed her to be taken during childbirth at the young age of 34. May Allah provide her husband, Jahir, her family and friends with a wave of comfort and sabr during this extremely difficult time.
We think raising money for the Birth Clinic would be something Shammy would support and would love to have money raised for in her name and her son's name.
The Islamic Help Birth Clinic for Syrian refugee mothers and new-born babies is situated in Jordan. In the past 5 years it has helped to deliver more than 3,670 babies and conducted over 35,000 health checks.
This facility is completely free for Syrian refugees thanks to the support of donors and volunteers. To sponsor the medical costs of delivering one baby it's only £300 for a natural birth and £600 for a Cesarean Birth (C-Section).
£20 will cover the cost of providing clothing for new-born babies and £30 will sponsor the cost of essential pre-natal healthcare. And a donation of £100 will go towards the running cost of the clinic.
