Hi all, there are number of events I've secured this year, these are:

- Lisbon Half Marathon - 9th March - completed

- London to Brighton Cycle Ride - 15th June

- Copenhagen Half Marathon - 14th Sep

- Cardiff Half Marathon - 5th Oct

- Valencia Half Marathon - 26th Oct

The events are fully self funded.

I was initially introduced to the events to accompany a friend, but then after watching the video for The Bevern Trust, wanted to get involved in their fund raising campaign Space to Thrive Appeal.

I've known Bevern Trust for a number of years now and they desperately need to raise funds to help more profoundly disabled people live life to the full. We take being able bodied for granted, please take a look at this video:

The campaign Space to Thrive Appeal is to create a space to thrive for their residents.

For over 25 years, their home Bevern View has been a place of love and support for individuals with profound physical and learning disabilities.

As the residents grow older and their needs become more complex, they urgently need to expand the home to ensure they can continue living life to the fullest.

The trust is now closer than ever to reaching the £668,000 goal, with just over 50% left to raise.

Every contribution brings them one step closer to creating a transformative space where the Bevern View community can truly thrive.

With your support, the Space to Thrive appeal will help create:

- A dedicated activity room to engage and inspire their residents

- A refurbished lounge for comfort and connection

- A staff break room and new office to support their incredible caregivers
