Hello ladies and gentlemen,

My name is Shanann, and I am a third-year student ODP. Today, I come to you with a profound purpose that transcends borders and speaks to the very heart of humanity for mental health and youth empowerment in rural Bali.

In August 2024, I will embark on a one-month volunteering expedition in Bali, working alongside other students and healthcare professionals in accordance with Balinese government guidelines.

Imagine a world where every young mind is nurtured, where every individual feels empowered to chase their dreams, free from the burdens of mental illness. This vision propels my mission as I strive to raise funds for mental health initiatives and youth empowerment programs in Bali.Why Bali? Because even amidst its breathtaking beauty, it is not immune to the silent struggles that plague our youth and communities. Behind the paradise façade lies a reality where mental health issues silently wreak havoc on young lives. But within these challenges, there is hope. Together, we can break the stigma, offer support, and foster resilience among the youth and community.
