In 2025, our family lost my beloved grandma, Carmen Ali. Grandma had an incredible heart—she cared deeply about her entire family and always put others before herself. We will forever cherish her beautiful smile, her infectious laugh, and, of course, her amazing cooking.

I am running my first Half Marathon in loving memory of my grandma, who bravely fought Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Dementia. She gave us so much warmth, love, and support throughout her life, and this run is a small way to honor her legacy and raise awareness for these cruel conditions.

Grandma, thank you for everything you ever gave us and did for us. Every step of these 13.1 miles is for you. ❤️
