Set up in memory of our brave Amelia, that lost her battle with Neuroblastoma at 8 years old. We saw how an activity or gift improved her mood whilst in hospital and wanted to share that with other children hospitalised with long term illness. We will also be funding research into Neuroblastoma.

Story

Some of you may be aware that I have done some of this running business before. Last time in January 21, I was raising money for the children's cancer wards at the RVI, who were treating my friend's 8 year old daughter Amelia for Neuroblastoma.

Unfortunately Amelia passed away before I finished my challenge and didn't get to see all of the amazing gifts we donated in her name.

However, her family have now set up a charity called Forever Eight to create a legacy for her.

Amelia loved to be creative and even through her treatment, an activity or a gift helped cheer her up a lot. Now they provide tailored art packages for poorly children in hospital, to help cheer them up too.

They also aim to raise as much awareness as possible, as well as providing funds to projects researching Neuroblastoma.
