My family have used QMC hospital on more occasions than I would prefer! Going to hospital is often a stressful event, we are putting our health and wellbeing in the care of others, and it takes bravery and courage to do this.

As such I wanted to, not only give back, to the wonderful nurses and doctors who have looked after my family, but also show some bravery like all the patients who visit hospitals do each day.

As such, I shall be conquering my fear of heights (ironic for someone who is 6 foot 4!) along with my colleagues from the Arnold branch of The Nottingham Building Society and abseiling down 100 feet from the top of QMC, one of the tallest hospitals in the country!
