As many of you are aware, in 2021 my dad passed away at the age of 52 after a battle with oesophageal cancer. Trinity Hospice & Palliative Care Services cared for him and supported our family during one of the hardest times of our lives. They allowed him to be at home, comfortable, and surrounded by love, and for that I will always be grateful.

I’ve done a few fundraisers in the past, but I’ve wanted to do something extra special for Trinity Hospice for a long time. With this year marking the 5th anniversary of my dad’s death, it felt like the right time.

So… I’ve signed up for the Beaverbrooks Blackpool 10K Fun Run 🏃‍♀️

I’m currently doing Couch to 5K and will be training my way up to the 10K — which is definitely a challenge for me, but one I’m determined to see through.
