Me and my lovely colleagues are running in aid of Children's Bereavement Centre. This is fantastic charity that do incredible work for children and families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. Working within a school we see the raw impact on a child when they are faced with when loosing a loved one.
Fundraising could help provide:
• £10 – a comfort bear for a grieving child
• £25 – a play therapy session
• £100 – memory books to help children remember someone special
• £200 – eight sessions of one-to-one bereavement support
They offer free support to children, young people and their families across Nottinghamshire, and into Lincolnshire, who are facing the death or terminal illness of someone they love. As well as provide one-to-one bereavement counselling, art and play therapy, monthly peer support groups, family programmes, weekend camps, and candlelight remembrance services.
We appreciate money is tight but every penny helps.
