In Syria, where the situation has turned more extreme, 6.8 million people are displaced and a staggering 12.1 million people don't have a reliable way to feed themselves - that's more than half of the entire population.

Since the conflict in Ukraine, food prices have skyrocketed, with the cost of basic foods increasing by 52% since the war and 90% since last year.
