I am taking part in the More Than a Marathon challenge to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust! This May, I will be completing 28 miles in 28 days to represent the 28 hospital units around the country, where Teenage Cancer Trust nurses and youth workers care for young people facing cancer.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. One of those children in 2012 was my daughter Shania, sadly Shania passed away in 2019 fighting this awful disease.

Shania needed specialised nursing care and support to get her through it. Teenage Cancer Trust are the only charity in the UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need so no young person faces cancer alone.

Every £25 donation provides an hour to talk. A Youth Support Coordinator provides the extra help young people need with things like studies, relationships and mental wellbeing throughout cancer treatment. £25 could pay for an hour of their time, helping them be there when they're needed most.
