Raising money for Beit Halochem UK in honour of the Bibas brothers

Running from my home to Bevis Marks in the city of London · 5 October 2025

Beit Halochem UK is devoted to raising money for the Beit Halochem Rehabilitation Centres in Israel that provide facilities and lifelong support to disabled veterans and victims of terror. Another objective is to increase awareness in the UK community about the work of the Centres in Israel.

Story

As my Bar Mitzvah fast approaches, I am attempting to run to Bevis Marks Synagogue from home in Finchley with my dad. It is about a 16km run!

We are planning to both run in Batman costumes in honour of the Bibas brothers who died after being kidnapped and taken hostage to Gaza October 7th.

My aim is to raise money for Beit Halochem. I am incredibly inspired by the work their centres do and how many soldiers are rehabilitated there from serious injuries. Some even go on take part in the Paralympics!

I really appreciate your support and will share photos along the way!

Thank you,

Jonah/ Gilo
