Story
Running is not my thing, I’d much rather be chasing a ball around a hockey pitch! But as I was on my way to Edinburgh for neurosurgery number 3 last October, I knew I wouldn’t be able to play hockey for a while and so I decided to set myself a get-well challenge.
6 months on, I’ll be running the Balmoral 10km on 4 April. I’ve decided to raise money and awareness for the Jessica Brady CEDAR Trust. This is a small but incredibly important charity, which drove the introduction of Jess’s Rule across NHS England. Jess’s Rule requires GPs to "think again" and review a patient’s care if they present three times with the same, persistent, or worsening symptoms.
If you could spare a few pounds to support this charity with their amazing work to improve healthcare provision, and to spur me on to the end of a particularly hilly course, it would be greatly appreciated.
