Story
In a remarkable display of teamwork and determination, the dedicated staff from the council’s Adult Contact Team are embarking on a unique triathlon challenge to support a cause close to their hearts. Over the course of three months, they will tackle three distinct fitness challenges, all in aid of St Teresa's Hospice, an organisation that provides invaluable support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families in Darlington.
The journey begins in June with an invigorating spinning class at the Dolphin Centre, followed by an ambitious swim where they aim to conquer 100 lengths in July. The grand finale will take place in August as they hike over the breathtaking Cleveland Hills. This team is not just participating in a personal challenge; they are advocating for those who need it most. They have witnessed firsthand the profound impact that St Teresa's Hospice has on their community, providing comfort and care during some of life's most challenging moments.
As they prepare for this inspiring journey, they invite you to join them in making a difference. Their goal is to raise £500 for St Teresa's Hospice by August 25th, 2025. Every contribution counts and will help ensure that vital services continue to be available for those who rely on them. Together, let’s support this noble cause and bring hope to those who need it most.
