In Loving Memory of Lynda: Supporting Our Community in Her Memory

This February marks three years since we had to say goodbye to our mum, Lynda. The pain of losing her is something we are still learning to live with. Mum was more than just a mother—she was a constant source of love, kindness, and support for those around her. Her heart was always open, and she was dedicated to supporting local charities, helping those in need, and spreading kindness wherever she could.

In her memory, we, Sharon and Neil, want to do something positive, something that would have made her incredibly proud. Sharon recently began volunteering with Helping Hearts Fylde, a local charity that helps support the community through food banks, baby banks, and other essential services for people in need. We believe this is a fitting way to honour Mum’s legacy.

This month, we are raising funds to support these vital services, and we would be incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make. The donations will be used to provide:

Food for our weekly food bank, helping to ensure no one in our community goes hungry

Baby supplies for our baby bank, assisting new parents who are struggling

Toiletries, offering essential hygiene items to those in need

Every penny raised will go directly into helping local families through Helping Hearts Fylde’s weekly services. This is our chance to do something really meaningful in Mum’s memory.
