Event: Stride4Hearts Canal Walk, on 1 October 2023
Join us as we trek from Saltaire to Leeds City Centre along the canal. Myself and a team of walkers are raising life-saving funds for a new BAME Support Worker for Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

Story

1 in 125 babies are born with a heart defect. With over 40 types of heart defect, that makes congenital heart disease (CHD) the most common birth defect worldwide.

Children’s Heart Surgery Fund (CHSF) is the charity which supports the Leeds Congenital Heart Unit (LCHU), the 19 cardiac clinics across the Yorkshire and The Humber, and the 17,000+ patients who live with CHD in our region, from babies right through to adults.

We're walking from Saltaire to Leeds on 1st October to raise life-saving funds for a new BAME Support Worker for Children’s Heart Surgery Fund.

Please give what you can!
