On 7th September I will be walking and perhaps dancing a bit of the half marathon by participating in the Great North Run 2025 with my wonderful friends Christine Lewin and Vicki Hook. We are fundraising as a team. With your generous support we are hoping to raise £1000 for Breast Cancer Now, the charity dedicated to giving support for today and hope for the future for everyone affected by breast cancer.

Christine's first JustGiving fundraiser in 2009 was for The Newcastle Sun Walk (uniting against Breast Cancer) which she took part in after completing her treatment for Breast Cancer. Christine was supported throughout by so many people and since then she has wanted to support others affected by cancer so far raising over £6500 for Cancer Charities by taking part in two 10K SunWalks, a Yoga Challenge and by hosting Card and Cakes Sales. I was thrilled to be asked to be part of her team this will be a big challenge for me and I am looking forward to improving my fitness by training for this.
