I will be 55 in October and in November I will be completing the Hyrox pro pairs in Dublin with my daughter it’s definitely not easy but I’m determined to see it through for such an important cause.

In September, I’ll be taking on a 15km swim to raise money for the Felix Fund - The Bomb Disposal Charity, a charity that provides vital support to current serving and retired bomb disposal and search personnel, and their families. Update I completed 17.04km

I’ve chosen this charity because my son is currently serving as an Ammunition Technician, and the Felix Fund has directly supported him and his colleagues. Their work is dangerous, demanding, and often unseen - but the support they receive from the Felix Fund makes a real difference.

This hyrox will be a huge challenge for me, but knowing the cause I’m pushing myself to the limits for will keep me going every step of the way.
