Lupus is a debilitating, degenerative autoimmune disease where the body's immune system mistakenly attacks healthy parts of the body and causes inflammation as well as severe joint and muscle pain, extreme fatigue, skin rashes, hair loss, frequent and recurring fevers, headaches and damage to vital organs.

Approximately 1 in 1000 people in the UK are living with lupus and there is not yet a cure and the treatments are somewhat effective but life limiting themselves. This is why we are supporting Lupus UK by hosting a fundraiser so that we can raise vital funds to support those living with this often invisible chronic condition to improve treatments and fund vital research into finding a cure.
