Story
Disability Snowsport UK (DSUK) have over 40 year's experience teaching adaptive snowsports, with a vision of removing barriers through skiing & snowboarding. They believe that everyone has the right to access the unique physical, mental & social benefits of snowsport, regardless of disability, injury, or experience.
They are running a 26 for 26 Winter Games Challenge, a simple, inclusive fundraising challenge celebrating the Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games. It's all about movement and participation in multiples of 26.
Sharryn loves working at DSUK and of course loves her daddy Johnny. Johnny has been poorly again and is getting back on his feet slowly. Starting on Friday 6 March (the start of the Winter Paralympics) Sharryn will be walking with Johnny each day.
Starting with 26 steps on Friday, they will increase in blocks of 26 each day the Winter Paralympics is on. It might not sound a lot, but for someone who has such limited mobility after battling ill-health the last 10 years, it will take a huge effort.
Thank you for donating.
