My name is shashika, and I am currently studying at university of colombo. Life took a painful turn—both my mother and father have fallen seriously ill. As their only child, I now carry the burden of caring for them while trying to continue my studies.

Our family’s financial situation has collapsed. With medical expenses rising and no stable income, I’m struggling to afford even my basic needs at campus—food, rent, transport, and study materials. Each day feels heavier than the last, but I don't want to give up on my dreams.
