Myself and my very good friends Chris Southwick, Jonathan Rowell and Jason Bohane are organising a charity football match and family fun day at Hall Lane home of Willington AFC on May 10th 2025. Kick off will be 13.00 hours and the gates will open at 11am. We are organising this in relation to Angie Bennett being diagnosed with MND in January this year. Any donations made to our page will be greatly appreciated and we would love to see a great crowd gather to watch the old boys of Willington AFC and Houghton Le Spring old boys turn out and enjoy the day. Myself Chris and all the lads would love to pass our Target and hopefully all involved will enjoy raising money and taking part in the day. Please spare a thought for all the people diagnosed with this awful disease and let’s help this great charity moving forward one day hopefully beating it!
