I started running in August 2023, with my first 5K booked for November 2023.

Plan to do a few 10K events in 2024 as part of my training plan.

Cardiff Winter Warmer 10K (February 2024) - Completed - Time: 01:03:23

Half Marathon Completed - 02:28:31

In order to keep me disciplined and give me the extra motivation to complete a Half Marathon, I have decided to raise money for Barnardo's Children's Charity.

Barnardo's helps hundreds of thousands of children, young people, parents and carers via 1000+ services across the UK, across lots of areas including fostering and adoption, young carer’s and child sexual exploitation

For every £1 (excluding retail costs) Barnardo's spend, approximately:

- 92p goes on working with children and young people

- 3p on governance and pension costs

- the remaining 5p on raising the next £1

I started running in August 2023, with my first 5K booked for November 2023. Once I complete the 5K, my plan is to complete a 10K and then get the Cardiff Half Marathon added to my list in October 2024.
