I'm part of a team of four, middle-aged blokes (not in lycra!) taking on the Race the Sun Jurassic Coast Off-Road challenge for children's charity Action Medical Research in June 2025.

We will be setting off at sunrise to bike, hike and paddle around a challenging course in a race against the sun and our fitness levels. With a combined age of nearly 200 years old, we shall wince, strain, creak and push our way round the course in aid of an excellent charity and a well earned beer at the end.

We are raising funds for the children's charity, Action Medical Research. They have spent over 70 years funding vital research to help defeat the diseases that devastate the lives of sick and disabled babies, children, and young people.

By supporting our team you will be helping to find ways to reduce premature birth, to support children facing a lifetime of challenges caused by disabilities, and to develop cutting-edge therapies for rare and incurable diseases.

Thank you so much for your support and contribution, it means a lot to us and will make a massive difference to the lives of the children that the charity supports.
