We are a team from JLR EPMC in Wolverhampton, Taking on the Three Peaks Challenge
We are a group of like minded People who like to take on challenges and go the extra mile and raise awareness and hopefully some funds along the way for charity's
For this event we would like to raise funds and awareness for Ava's Angels Charity. this is a fantastic charity started by the parents of young Ava, who sadly passed away from a rare form glandular Fever (Encephalitis) Ava was was a fun energetic young girl who loved dancing, my (Shaun) wife (kelly) was her ballet teacher and was a delight to be around and we were all so shocked by her passing,
The Charity does amazing things to help support other family's in there times of need, including supporting Birmingham's Children's hospital, Acorns hospice and Ronald McDonalds housing trust, there funds help support accommodation for family's when there children are in ICU, help to buy urgently needed medical equipment, they also sponsor a family room in Birmingham children's hospital ICU unit, where they provide food and drinks for family's so they don't have to leave the ward, they help make special times of the years such as Easter and Christmas a little bit easier by doing easter egg collections and Christmas present collections, an amazing charity.
the Three Peaks challenge is a huge trek taking on the three biggest mountains in Scotland, England and whales covering nearly 1000miles of driving , 24 miles of climbing up 3045meters of mountain trekking and all in just 24 hours, and amazing adventure for amazing causes,
