Story
I am excited to announce that I will be taking on the Sydney Marathon in support of Cliona’s Foundation—an incredible charity that helps families whose children have serious illnesses.
Cliona’s Foundation provides vital financial and practical support to parents so they can focus on what really matters: being there for their child, without the added pressure and stress of medical costs, travel, and everyday bills.
As a primary school teacher, I am very aware of how much stability, routine, and support matter in a child’s life—and how difficult it must be for families when illness turns their whole world upside down, especially for siblings who still strive for normality at school while a brother or sister is in hospital. That’s why I am so honoured to be able to support these families in any way I can.
I ran my first marathon last year in Limerick, and while I know just how tough the challenge ahead will be, I will be running every kilometre in Sydney with those families in my mind and heart.
If you can support me in any way—even the price of your morning coffee—I know both I and the families supported by Cliona’s Foundation would be extremely grateful. Thank you for helping turn this run into something that can truly make a difference.
