This year we’ll be raising money towards a great local charity to help fundraise for a new minibus for the children of Ysgol Ty Coch. Any donations, no matter how big or small, are greatly appreciated.

There’s been a number of challenges through the year, but next up is Trilogy of Trilogies:

The Trilogy of Trilogies involves completing the National, Yorkshire and Welsh Three Peaks challenges in 3 days. The Trilogy covers a total of 103kms and involves 7,153m of ascent:

The National Three Peaks total walking distance is 23 miles (37km) and a total ascent of 3064 metres. This challenge takes on Snowdon, in Wales (1085m), Scafell Pike, in England (978m) and Ben Nevis, in Scotland (1345m).

The Welsh Three Peaks includes a total walking distance of 17 miles (27.4km) and an ascent of 2864 metres. This challenge takes on the three peaks of Snowdon (1085m), Cadair Idris (893m), and Pen y Fan (886m).

The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge is 24-miles (38.6km) and includes 1585m of ascent. This challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres).
