In 2026, we are taking part in the Samworth Brothers Charity Challenge to raise funds for Overgate Hospice.

Samworth Brothers are a valued customer here at Sheard Packaging, and we’re proud to be joining this brilliant initiative alongside their teams and partners.

The Charity Challenge is a 9-hour endurance event held in the Peak District, involving mountain biking, kayaking and hiking. Each team has a fundraising target of £2,500 for their chosen charity and we’re committed to reaching (and hopefully exceeding) that goal.

We have chosen to support Overgate Hospice because of the incredible care and compassion they provide to people and families across our local community. The work they do every day makes a real and lasting difference at the times it matters most.

This challenge will certainly push us out of our comfort zone, but it’s a small effort in support of such an important cause. Any donation, no matter the size, will help Overgate continue delivering their vital services. Thank you for your support.
