Story
This year we're raising money for therapeutic tabletop activities for older people at Woodland View, our nursing home for people who have complex dementia and require specialist support.
We will be doing this via our Christmas kindness campaign on Friday 19 December: it’s cooool to be kind.
Many of the people we provide care for at Woodland View have the muscle memory from working, playing, and being active. It can be really helpful to have an outlet for this muscle memory, to enable people to remain active in both their bodies and minds.
These tabletop activities include things like fidget gadgets which are specially designed to support older people living with the conditions that we treat at Woodland View.
Please consider donating anything you can to enable our carers at Woodland View to provide the best possible service for the people we support.
Thank you for anything you can give.
It’s cooool to be kind
On Friday 19 December we will be hosting a carnival of kindness across our Trust.
Cake baking, car washes, food drives and friendly competitions - our teams will be pledging a wide array of acts of kindness to carry out.
Please donate to our staff who already do so much, going one step further to fill our world with even more kindness this Christmas.
