Story
Sheffield United Community College Fundraiser – Support Dogs
This year, our students will be raising money for Support Dogs, a national charity dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with various medical conditions. Support Dogs provide, train, and support specialist assistance dogs for children and adults with autism, epilepsy, and physical disabilities. Their work changes lives, helping people live more independently with greater confidence and security.
The Challenge – South Yorkshire Football Stadium Tour Walk
📅 Thursday 23rd October
👣 Our students will be taking on a 30-mile, 12-hour “South Yorkshire Football Stadium Tour” walk. The route begins in Doncaster, passes through Rotherham and Sheffield Wednesday, and finishes at Bramall Lane.
Last year the SUCC students raised over £3,000 for YoungMinds – an incredible feat, but one we are determined to smash this year in support of Support Dogs.
This challenge is not only a test of determination and teamwork, but also a way for our students to come together and raise as much as possible for an incredible cause. Every penny raised will go directly to Support Dogs to help them continue their life-changing work.
🐶 We’re also excited that some of the amazing Support Dogs will be supporting us on the route, helping raise awareness and inspiring everyone along the way.
Together, we can make a meaningful contribution to this amazing charity. Thank you for supporting our students on their journey!
